    My coil packs have rust on the terminals I have two questions;

    1.) Can I just sand the rust off them
    2.) Is there a way to test the packs and see if they are still good?

    I replaced them with MSD's but am seeing where the original coil packs are better BTW they have 300,000 miles on them if it matters, thanks guys

    wire brush and then di-electric grease on the terminal.

    Yes you can sand the rust off, use petrolium based terminal sealer like the parts store tells you to buy in those dollar packages when you get plug wires on them after to prevent future rust. If you don't have a misfire code, the coils are more than likely still good.

    If you're worried about it, you can get new ones for $15 each from rockauto.
