I am just about ready to have the crankposition sensor replaced however i am really confused. The people i have doing the work are basic garage mechanics. They say the replacement is no problem. I asked them about the need to do an ENGINE CASE LEARN. I read many articles specifying that this is a necessary step once the crank sensor is replaced,in fact it goes through a very specific step by step procedure once you hook up the TECH II device(actually looks like something i could do if 1)i had a TECH II. And 2) knew where it hooked up. Well the guys doing the work and a few other guys ive talked to say its not necessary. Who is right?
