So my temp gauge isn't working. I don't have much experience with Pontiac's and after much laying on my back and trying to track down the problem. I gave in and decided I would ask you knowledgeable folk.
Anyhow, Back to the issue at hand, I'm completely stumped and I don't know much about factory gauges or how they work.
It doesn't do the full sweep on start up like the rest of my gauges. Could it possibly be the gauge itself? or the board behind it maybe? Like I said im not very smart with factory gauges.
Also, My driver side vents blow either cold or slightly warm when I have my heat on. I havent crawled under the dash to see what the actual problem is but from past experience Im leaning towards the Recirculating vent not being closed all the way (The "cabin" vent or something like that, the one that allows fresh air in from the outside, I dont know the technical term. lol.)
Even though Ive had this problem before It was on two of my cars that had manual vent's and it was just a case of a reconnect. I've never dealt with digital setup's like I have now. So before I tear into it I was wondering if someone could drop some knowledge on me about how the vent system's in these cars work, Electronic, vacuum lines maybe?
