Hippo, if most people say something, it has to be true, right? Ever have a gummed up injector, then clean it, and actually feel a seat of the pants difference, because you're actually getting the correct amount of fuel to the cylinder??
Just because most people say it, doesnt mean its fact. Now, 99% of the time, people pop a can of cleaner in because they want to keep things clean.
Oh, and spider4, I think I remember what it is. Z-MAX, endorsed my Carroll Shelby. Supposedly soaks into the metal, and saves you tons of money on increased gas-mileage and stuff.
