And a correctly done retrofit can be done for ~$300 bucks. That includes buying a new set of headlights, the projectors, and HID kit.

I personally know 2 people that have these and these alone (no retrofit) and they are awesome! You cant beat that warranty either!!
My HID's seem to light up the road a whole lot better then the stock bulbs. And personally thats all that matters to me. You can feel free to retro my headlights if you want.

running the same kit i had in my truck
so the same kit since late 07![]()
I'm currently considering doing this as well, so a list of components would be most helpful, because quite truthfully, are you referring to a new set of STOCK housings? I have yet to be able to put new housings together with a decent HID light kit for that price you mention.
Otherwise...
The Retrofit source looks like some quality stuff... anyone use them? Experience? and please list the actual products used, along with housing info.
The Ultimate Kits look good too and more economical it would seem... I do worry about the GLARE from the stock housings using upgraded lamps as I have read about this in a few places.
Lastly, has anyone experience with these... seems nice but a bit expensive...
