Hello. So i have been having this issue with my blower motor since i moved to alaska from georgia. when i start the car and turn on the blower(for heat) it screams for a sec then stops. other times it wont come on unless i gently bang on the glove box or top of dash. it has no problems turning off. also when it is running it will speed up and slow down as if someone is controlling the voltage with a dimmer switch. i am pretty mechanically inclined and very familiar with elecricity. i dont believe it to be a short or the a/c control box. any other help is very appreciated.

you could try to lube the old motor by spraying it with some wd-40, it may help you out till you get a new or used one, they are for sale used, check ebay, or morads, used is like 40 bucks i think. comes with the whole motor and fan.
