Does your GP have digital climate control? If so that tick could be the ac compressor kicking in.

I would just change the coupler, I have not read to many stories of peoples bearings and snout seals going out but it is possible. And 100k is not a high mileage charger my stock blower has ~176k on it and it ran like a champ.

If you are coming up to my place next weekend, we can just do it then. If you haven't bought anything yet, you will need a new coupler, 2 bottles of GM supercharger fluid, and a tube of anaerobic sealant.

I wouldn't worry at all about the snout bearings and seals. I have over 281k miles on the original snout bearings and seals on my GTP and don't have any issues.

But like you read, there is no "gasket" between the snout and the supercharger rotors. It is just sealed with a sealant called anaerobic sealer, which means it will seal without being exposed to oxygen, as opposed to something like RTV gasket maker which needs oxygen to cure. And as mentioned, I wouldn't worry about the bearings as they typically are not a part that goes bad. And if they do, it is easier to pick up a used snout or entire supercharger for less than it would cost to do the bearings alone.
