Mk, so instead of thread jacking *coughbillcough*

Anyway, it's been like this since I've got it I just assumed it was normal. But LO is lukewarm at best and HI is pretty warm, it's comfortable. But I've been in my aunt's GT's and her HI will fry your ass and her LO is like my HI. And I'm just wondering why mine refuses to fry my ass

    Any help?thx.

There is a thermostat in the seats that control the temperature Hi/Low operation of the heater. It could be a thermostat going bad. Just a guess....

The module and thermister work together to keep from frying you. If the heater wire is thin at one point or has a section that is partially broken, but still connected a little..that could cause it to have much more resistance and over heat.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

@ brandonl2000, I have read your post about your heated seat situation. I can understand how frustrating this can be in comparing what is normal and not normal. I am just curious if you have contacted one of your local General Motors dealerships to see if they can shed some light on your situation.
