I have a weird issue... Randomly my car will idle like crap. Like when you have a MAF sensor going bad. Rev up a little then bog down, then up...ect It will do it most often when I first start it and rev it up a few times, though not every time. It will do it warm or cold... When it does it I can rev it up a little and it will smooth out untill I let off again. But if I "force" it to drive and drive maybe 1/4 mile and come to a stop most of the time it idles fine. I can also shut the car off and restart it and it will idle fine, though if I leave it a while it will most of the time go back to crappy idle.

I have replaced the entire throtle body with all the sensors that are on it(TPS, MAF, IAC). I Have also replaced the EGR. All to no avail. The only code it has thrown is one for the MAF, which I know is good, and the check engin light is not on. I wouldn't think it is the fuel pump because it runs fine otherwise. PCM or Ignition switch? Its not a major issue yet, but very annoying...

It's a stock one from a good running car.

Did you check thepart number on the maf vs yours? Parts can sometimes look alike and be very different.

Another thing is.. if you swapped the parts and still get the code, you may have a wiring or connector issue. Being right above the exhaust can make that stuff brittle and problematic.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
