It was a simple question. Better to start small and then work your way up. For all you know the fix could be a simple flash of the brights while the car is running to help power jump to the ballasts. Wouldnt be the first time this has happened.

Better to start out with a suggestion that might actually make some sense rather than telling him to check something that isn't going to be the cause of the current problem he's having.
