So for a while my 05 Grand Prix has the check engine light on. Today I went out and had the codes read. I'm getting P0133,P0420,P1133,P1134. I've these problems before and had a shop replace the O2 sensor twice. I'm tired of paying him the same thing every time to have this continue to happen. I want to fix it myself if possible and try and eliminate this problem. I don't know if it matters but the car doesn't get great gas mileage either. Any help is appreciated.

how long ago(miles) did they get changed?
how long were you driving around with these codes?
the reason your not getting good gas mileage is because with these codes present your car is running rich because its doesn't know what the sensors are reading it basically goes to a default setting,
and buy running rich all the time its dumping raw fuel in the exhaust which is very bad for the cat and if the damage is to late then the cat is toast and will have to be replaced but hopefully youll get lucky and yours will be ok

Weird... Default fueling (aka open loop) is actually significantly leaner than closed loop.

Good thing people provide accurate information on this forum.
