TOGs are very good headers. Some people on here just base their opinion more on other people than real world experience (actually owning the product). Lots of people on here have a hard-on for Speed Daddy headers. The thing is to make them "Right" you would still have to have the downpipe re-welded. For the price that might not be that big of an issue for some people.

There are a few tips for installing them such as buying washers to install when you put the donut gaskets on both sides of the crossover. You should also put copper RTV around the donut gasket after you install the cross over to help it seal. You can also get a pre-bent dipstick from someone selling a few of them in the classified section. Other than that I have had no issues. The install is not that hard if you have the right tools and your not an idiot.

Some others will tell you that because the upstream O2 is too close to the bottom of rear header that you will have issues with fouling out O2 sensors all the time with TOGs. I have not run into this issue and run my car pretty well.

    Good luck with the install.

A tog install w/o bending the dipstick or swapping it for a prebent. I'm calling BS. Smelly big ole pile of BS, that is.

Togs aren't a bad install. The only part I dislike is the rear crossover hookup. It's close to the trans and tube, pretty much requires a second guy to install it.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

    .
well roll around in the bs then . i went on the look for a pre bent dip stick, then someone told me that its just an 04+ dipstick.

I took the stocker out installed the rear header, put the dip stick back in and it went in fine and sealed right up, It has only been this way for a year now.

I know that you have installed a lot of headers, and like i said i must have been lucky or something. But to throw out the for this strikes me as odd. I didn't say that i did the install in like 5 mins and i didn't say that after the install i went out and ran 12s lol.

I did not buy another one because i never found one before i did the install and i did not bend mine because i knew with my luck i would pinch it off.

Your install time was pretty quick. Then to say you didn't swap the tube. Meaning a 97-03 tube fit with the headres. That's against everything I've seen and against even the vendor websites.

Not to say you don't have a newer tube or something, but yea..I called bs on it being a stocker tube and that they went go on in 3-4 hours taking your time. Most guys will spend all day at it. Fight the rear cross over bolts (takes two guys for most newbie TOG installs). It takes guys that do them all the time 3-6 hours depending. I'm all for saying it's easy and everyone can do it, but your info was a little suspicious.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

ok you are right i should have said that about 8 months before the TOGs i put in PEMs, and i dont have the rust issues most have because i live in cali and get no snow at all and my car to this day only has 84K on the clock.

The dip stick in this car is the dipstick it came with when i bought it, and i bought it bone stock from a stealership, the damn thing still has the factory head unit lol

The quality is great. I'm not sure how a lifetime warranty works for a company that no longer exists, though.

You need to do downpipe work with TOGs, too.

I didn't bother with this (though I considered it), as the donut gaskets crush - No leaks.

Perhaps I exaggerate too much on how much of a pain that was to do... I definitely needed a second person.
Irridium spark plugs last 100k mi and work just as well as copper. Copper is a waste on N/A and only lasts 15k mi. Don't use Platinum.
Use 195* tstat unless you can thoroughly explain why not; 99.9% don't need a lower temp.
Almost any oil filter, ever, is of higher quality than ACDelco. Spend $6+.

At one point, maybe, yeah. Installed the rear manifold twice. Downpipe rust-welded itself to catback. funfunfunfun

Zero gains. Costs nothing, because you won't do it. The end.
