Insurance isn't that bad on a GTP.. Mine is only like $80 a month. And i live in MI with retarded high insurance rates.

Comparing insurance rates between different people that live in different areas is pointless.

Age, driving record, type of insurance, deductibles, area you live in, insurance provider, etc are all factors that will decide how much one will pay for insurance.

Comparing between vehicles is mildly valid if percent change is the figure used.

How old are you? I've been paying about $57 a month for my GTP Comp G since I was like uh...26? Farmers! Driving area/region plays a big part too though.

The major drop is at 25. It will also drop if you get married or have kids. My insurance dropped 50% when I turned 25.

And again, just because one drives the same car does not mean insurance rates will be anywhere near the same. I was paying $60 a month for full coverage for my Stealth. Others I know were paying over $100 a month just for liablilty. A friend of mine was paying $250 a month for his car, just because he lived near NYC.
