    Hey Im new to working on cars. Need help with the back 3 spark plugs on my 05 pontiac grand prix. I am at 100,000 just getting my tune up on. Can someone email me with good tips? Got the front no problem.

    Remove the dog bones and rock the engine forward.

    just reach back and pretty much feel your way throught the job, its not that hard.


    you can remove the 2 upper motor mounts and pull the motor forward with a ratchet strap and that will give you another 1-2in of room.

    Is there such a huge issuse behind having particals enter the spark plug space during the tune up?

    Do you want sand and dirt on your piston tops and on the cylinder walls? This is bad. Yes, you need to try and blow the crap out from around the plug holes before removing the plugs.

    Sand/dirt+piston moving at 2Krpm= bad
