i have a 97 gp with the 3800 the abs light came on and the speedo died a day later i changed the vss checked the gauges and tested the wiring for continuity all seems good the only thing i can find is the pin on the ecm for the speedo is grounded im thinking a short in the ecm i know the computer is 97 only but im wondering if one from an olds Intrigue or a bonnevile would work just to see if that is the problem? the car shifts fine if i unplug the vss it wont shift im at a loss any other ideas would be apreciated!!!

97 pcms are bigger, have different files and yes the trans is different for 97 GT's because its a vacuum trans.
