About a week ago I had to get my intake gaskets replaced on my 03 GTP with 88k miles, because the water pump was going causing the car to overheat. I let it go for a while and after one drive to work, antifreeze was all over the engine.
Now there is a clicking sound, which sounds like its coming for the alternator. It only does it on start up. The "clicks" are not in a rhythmic pattern and seem random. Once the engine is warm, the sound goes away. The car is running fine. I don't know if its because it was soaked in antifreeze or maybe the belts aren't tight enough or if the alternator is just shot. Any ideas?
