    does anyone actually know all the differecnes in these 2 engines. i was lookin up the 3800 stroker kit and zzp provided this

    -"Wrist pins and rod lengths are different in supercharged 3800 applications"

    so what else is different?

    L67 = supercharged motor. 8.5.1 compresson

    L36 = NA motor (GT) 9.5.1 compression

    they have a supercharged 3800? lol. i think everyone knows those differences. im talkin internal components and external components ie, fuel pump, injectors, water pump, balancer, or any thing else. just woundering all the differences.

    pretty much the pistons have more of a dish on the l67 over the l36 to get the lower compression...

    Top of the engine is different and so is the harmonic balancer.

    injectors, HB, some brackets, fuel rail, LIM, TB, vacuum lines. All different.

    Pistons are different, rods should be of the same grade, cranks are the same.
