Hello every body? So my car was running great. I went to a stop sign and then my car starting running really funky just within a second. It seemed like i was only running on 4 pistons and stead of 6. So i changed spark plugs and wires and still same problem. So i started testing coil packs by take off wire and checking for spark. Well in the process of doing that i noticed my last coil pack on the far right was not sparking. So i bought a new coil pack replaced it and same problem. My car is a 92 Pontiac Grand Prix 3.1 L.

Most likely its the ICM or ignition control module, that sits directly under the coils.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

Yeah, I have a 2004 GP GT1 and I need a new ignition coil module. For the $120 for the one icm from the dealer I can get all 3 for like $150. They are made by MSD, but it says it for the 97-03 models. If some one could tell me if this will work for my car I will appreciate it.

you are getting the 2 mixed up.

There are "coil packs" and a Ignition coil module.

The coils bolt on to the ICM, which sends the current through the coils then to the spark plug wires and plugs.

Dont ever buy MSD coils, they are junk.

So you need to figure out what you need, the ICM itself or a coil pack itself.

Is the a brand that I should go with for the icm and/or the coil pack.

    These are your coil packs.

This is an Ignition control module (ICM)
Airtex 6H1045 Ignition Control Module | eBay

That link just an example of what it is, I wouldnt buy that one.

But as to which one of those you need, I have no idea, I dont know what is wrong with your car. It may be wise to tell in your 'own" thread (make one if need be) what is your problem so we can help you find out which part or parts are really needed.
