So my trunk lift support or pump went out and I went to oriellys and they wanted 33 for one lift support for a gp. So I tried a Buick century ones for 15 they were a tad too long like no more then 1/8th of inch to long. I just have a hard time paying $33 for something that for every other car is $15-$18. Is there somewhere that sells these cheaper then $30 for our cars?

is it a 1/8 to long when closed? and maybe you could bend/massage the mounts to accept the 1/8 inch.

i'd try it and if it dont work, return it.

The ones I've seen in my salvage yard have either been on fire or was the car that rear ended another car.

Question tho how would you get a perfectly fine trunk open in a salvage yard with no keys?

I had one open last only cuz it was a 02 and has the govt mandated trunk release strap in the inside but to get to that I had to pull the whole back seat out anyway.

www.rockauto.com was the best deal for me anywhere on the web. I just purchased two Strongarm #4119 and had them mailed to me by the post office for the low, total price of $33.62 including shipping!
