Ok I have done some research and I think I have most of the mods planned out but not quite.

I was thinkin speed daddy headers with no cat no rear 02 and a cutout with stock catback.

auto lite 104s and 160 tstat

I already have a homemade intake

A PCM(not sure exactly which one)

Would this be enuf to run a 3.3 or even a 3.25 pulley?

About how much power would this setup make on the motor?

This is an 04 impala ss btw

change that to a 180 tstat or leave it stock then you should be ok for a 3.4/3.5

Yea its highly unlikely you could get a 3.3 without some valvetrain work/intercooler.

You will need a custom in-car tune at that level.

No, it would not be enough.

ok well about how much power with that setup and a 3.4

also how much power with that setup plus the short stack and a 3.25 or 3.3?

Im sure these are some of the questions everybody gets tired of seeing but im new whole modding of l67s and what not.....you could ask me about a 5.0 mustang all day though.

If you want to know how much power get it dyno tuned. 2 birds with one stone.

Perhaps you should search or read threads on modding, like this one.

What is that power number you're trying to hit?

Think 3.4, and that's with a really good tune.

you want more power though.. youd prolly be better off running your 3.8 pulley with more timing.

I was thinking slightly under 300 to the wheels 330ish on the motor.

probably not without a cam. also, leave your rear O2, your pcm uses that for fuel readings. although it's not as important as the first one, i'm sure it still makes a difference. i second the 180 thermostat and a 3.4". that'll put you around 270 give or take at the crank, getting close to 240 at the wheels
99 GT - top swapped, S2X cam. - sadly, sold
    96 Firebird Formula - T-tops and exhaust leak. 14.26 @ 97.8 - sold
2008 Chevrolet Cobalt SS - stock, in all of it's turbocharged awesomeness
