Thread: Very annoying squeak

I'd start with the mention above to the belt.

Then if that checks out maybe check the front struts. It could be worn out strut mounts. Open the hood and take a look at where the top nut is on the strut. Now, push down on the fender and get the car to bounce up and down a bit. Is that big rubber bushing pushing upwards? If so, that may cause it too.

Stock struts on a 99 are junk by now and need to be changed, along w/ the strut mount and springs.

Actually it was the metal clip holding in the pads on the brakes, they extended out too far and when you turned it scraped the inside of the calipers. Never really noticed for some reason . I'm retarded thanks guys!
