Car just got top swapped last weekend and tuned Wednesday. Left for Kalamazoo, MI from Flint, MI yesterday, about 45 mins into the trip, it stalls out and I lose power steering. I was able to pull over shut it off and start back up. Then a few more miles it did it again, was able to get it going again. Then it happened a third time going a steady 70 - 75 mph. This time I couldn't get it started. It would try to start but wouldnt make it. I eventually ran out of juice to keep trying. It got towed to the near by tow shop. Then today a buddy and I went to get it. We jumped it when we got there and it started right up, but as soon as we got on the highway it did it again. So we loaded it up and brought it back to a buddys garage. It was scannedvand the maf came up so we changed that. Drove it around a lil bit and everything seemed ok and no codes, when i went to leave my buddy's about two miles on the highway it did it again. Checked and cleaned the speed sensor when I got back to my buddys house and it looked ok. I eneded up just taking back roads to get home.
Not sure what the problem is, it seems to be something when i get up to a steady 65 - 80. Maybe a bad ground somewhere, a sensor???
Any ideas?
