    2002 3.8 threw a service engine soon light.....any ideas besides checking the gas cap?? I read the canister is on top of the fuel tank!

    3.8 N/A or supercharged?

    Could be a bad purge canister...supercharged ones are on the back of the supercharger itself...and the N/A cars have it on the left side of the front of the intake manifold.

    Sorry....it is a regular 3.8 Is there a way to check if the purge canister is bad?
