I have everything installed for the intercooler. I even filled the lines and ran the pump without starting the car just to make sure it worked.

The problem is that the car will not start. When I turn the key to start basically I get nothing. Almost like the battery is dead but I know it's not. The weird thing is now I can't hear the fuel pump start up either, the radio doesn't work in the ON or ACC position and my climate controls work on 2,3 and 4 but not on 1 or 5. Other than that everything else seems to be working. I hope I didn't screw something up when I was trying to plug the "Add a fuse" into different fuse spots so the ignition turn on for the pump would come on when I turned the key.

    I am getting this code:

P0230-Fuel pump---Checked the fuses and even changed out the relay but nothing changed. The fuel pump was working fine before I started the install.

Could the ground on the coil pack be an issue?

I bought new terminals earlier today. I will try and clean the battery terminals tomorrow and try again.

What exactly did you use for ground and tie into for the IC pump? Disconnect everything that you did for that now and test/scan for battery voltage.

Nothing happens at all. Doesn't click or anything. I am thinking I need to take the coil bracket back off and check the ground.

    I am also getting code:

P1546-Air conditioning clutch feedback circuit low voltage.

If it doesn't click you've got an ignition/ground issue IMO...even when my ICM was fried it still tried to crank over but wouldn't fire...did anything spark during removal...as in...you forgot to unplug the battery first? Just asking the easy stuff first I suppose.

I think the first thing I need to do is check the ground for the ICM. Nothing sparked on removal but I did have the battery connected when I was trying to find a place for the "Add a fuse". Could I have blown something when I took the fuse for the fuel pump out and put the add a fuse in there?

Oh hey, did you remember to add a second fuse to the add-a-fuse?

im guessing you did something with the "add a fuse" thing that your electrical system didn like (this is why i didnt do that...) so I would put everything back how it was and see if it fires... then you will know where to start lookin for problems...

Yes I had two fuses in the thing when I plugged it in.

I am pretty sure I did something bad when I installed the add a fuse. I have it back to the way it was without anything connected to the battery at all. I noticed the hazard switch, radio, 1 and 5 on the climate controls don't work.

Tried moving relays around to see if that helped and nothing. I also tried cleaning every ground I could think of. I cleaned the one to the battery terminal, under the PCM for the ABS and the ICM ground on the coil pack bracket. Nothing has worked yet.

I still don't understand why its not cranking at all. I even had someone hook up jumper cables to see what would happen. I was getting the power but the car wouldn't even click or attempt to fire. I turn the key and nothing is there.

Are you absolutely, 150% certain that you've got the fuse in the right spot? I know it sounds stupid, but I did this with a sunroof fuse and it drove me nuts for an hour before I started moving the fuse around.

have you tried to jump the starter yet? something in the alternator may have popped, thus not giving you full power. if you get no sparks off the starter wires and and it don't crank, the powers not getting to the starter, and not to the rest of the car.

or the safe way test for power at the starter wires.

    starter solenoids go bad too.

Did you switch the PCM? Is the security light flashing? Might have something to do with the PCM and the chip in the key. Are you using yout normal key?

It's a normal key and the same PCM but I was thinking it might be the security also. I will have to try a case learn tomorrow and see what happens. If that doesn't work it looks like I will be chasing wires tomorrow. I checked all the fuses and the starter is functional but not getting power for some reason--Same with the fuel pump and various other things.

the power lead to the starter comes from the alternator , don't it? or am i thinking wrong here.

did you check the fuses in the glove box? can you hear the fuel pump relay click? did you actually pull all the fuses out in engine bay to check them? if the u used the same fuse i did, the add a fuse is a pain the ass to get in because the easy way is the wrong way.

I have a Monte Carlo so not sure if I have fuses in the glove box (I don't think I do). I can't hear the relay click or the pump prime. I pulled every fuse I could on the car and tested them. All the maxi fuses were good same with the smaller ones.

Explain the add a fuse thing more? Easy way?

I am starting to think its a relay or a few relays that are fried.
