Is it more of a gas smell? Like when you ride behind a cat less car?

ha ha. i would say its more of a gas smell rather then an egg... Not really sure, its one of those smells you cant put a name on... Driving regularly you don't smell a thing.![]()
do you own a temp gauge with a laser pointer??? If you understand what I mean by that.
Do a few heavy throttle runs and pull over and check the cats temp, maybe its almost clogged and burning REALLY REALLY hot and causing that smell when all the extra air and fuel are being dumped into the motor.
OR you can do it at night and see after a few runs if the cat is glowing red.
Thats just an idea of what could be causing it.
