I have a lot of noise from my new mufflers coming into my car. Now for me thats not a problem but I have a 2 year old daughter who cruises with me all the time and I would like to quite it down a bit. Is there any ideas on what I could do?

Not that I can see or hear. Just pretty loud in the car.

Do you still have a cat and resonator?

Do the tips/tailpipes extend past the inner lip of the rear bumper?

If they're not leaking and the above are taken care of (you have a cat and resonator, tips go past lip of bumper) then it was your muffler choice.

No resonator and yes cat tips are past. Was thinking about putting some of that sound mat **** in the trunk floor and the back of the back seat.

My intentions are to put a glass pack in where the resonator was.

Install the glass pack, see how it sounds then.

If you have the back seat installed and there are speakers in the rear deck, you shouldn't need anymore sound insulation.

the longer the res (or glasspack), the better...i've only got a 15" res on mine and it drones loudly inside the cabin.

i should have put a longer res on.

that should do wonders for dampening the noise, probably won't eliminate all sound but will quiet it significantly.

Awesome. Not looking to get rid of it all together just make it quieter.

My biggest concern is frying something up electrical with the welder...and also since it will be on the ca r idk if we will be able to get the welder in far enough to do the part closest to the car.
