    will i need any adapter if i remove the stock one? i dont need a sensor that alerts me below 5psi as i will see that on the gauge anyway......will i need an adapter for the new sender? im using a aem digital oil pressure gauge.....

    nope, if should come with its own little sender thingy, it screws in the same spot as the factory one, use some teflon tape so it dont leak.

    My sending unit needed a 1/8" to 1/4" thread adapter. I found mine at O'reillys. Autozone told me I would have a really hard time finding one. So I walked next door to O'reillys and they said, "Yeah, we have one"

    03 GTP...Its got pulleys and stuff.

    They fail me almost every time. But I keep going back....so Im the idiot, not them.

    I went to home depot and got a 1/4 brass T, and the adapter like above. Used Teflon tape on all the connectors and put the T in the block with both sending units on it, so that the little oil light would not stay on in the gauge cluster.

    I put the side of the T in the engine, with the new sending unit straight out and the OEM unit on the top.
