    any vacuum leak is a bad vacuum leak. do not listen to mah and think he is doing something correct. youre intentionally creating a vacuum leak which is bad. the vacuum lines are there for a reason and you should leave them alone.

    if you want to dress up your motor switch your plug wires, get a cone filter for the intake, paint some things, but for gods sake do not make a vacuum leak on purpose.

    Not to mention, hard braking will result in oil on your valve covers.

    seriously though, don't make a vacuum leak just to put a baby cone filter on your motor. you're compromising the way it runs and wasting money at the same time.

    You're introducing un-metered air into the engine, you can prob do it and it would run fine, it just isn't the best way to go about eliminating that line.

    Do what ever you want I have a GXP and a 3800 granprix I have done it on the 3800 for 2 years the car is pulling close to 300 hp and this filter is on it , do do what i do but a note to the none peleivers I had mine on for 2 years my v6 runs like a clock
