    hey i have a 2008 grand prix and the other night i left my car funning while i got the mail and while i was getting back into my car the auto headlights turned off and wouldnt come back on unless i did it manually. not a big deal at the time bu tnow even with key off and out of ignion theyh stay on. so i have disconect battery or pull battery fuses, huge hassle. any ideas to whats going on?

    Do you have an aftermarket starter or alarm? sometimes the relays on the control module end up sticking.

    If that dont do it try unhooking the battery then reconnecting, could be a computer issue...see what happens then post back.

    My 06 does the same thing. Pretty annoying. Let me know what you figure out.

    turns out it is with the aftermarket remote start. when i unhook that, the lights operate to spec. now i just need to look and see it there is actually a wiring issue or if the control unit is bad
