    1994, 3.1, 255,000 miles

Car will be running fine then suddenly shut down. lights, radio everything still on. Pull over to side of road and it starts right up again, continues to run fine until it does it again an hour or a day later.

Then, sometimes will not start after being off for awhile. Sounds like it is about to kick over and then just suddenly won't. Have sat there for 10 minutes trying it, 15-20 times, and it finally starts.

It has a code history showing EGR and MAPP code problems but there is never any current code. It ran fine at the shop during the 3 days it was there except once when it shut down as described above, still gave no current code. Shop mentioned it possibly being cam or crank sensors.

    Obviously driving me nuts.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to find problem or what it could possibly be?

    ?????????????????????????????????????????????????? ?????????????????????????????????????????????????? ?????????????????????????????????????????????????? ?????????????????????????????????????????????????? ???????????????????????????????????????!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Could it simply be a bad connection somewhere?
