It's time to get the wife a newer car.......

Last night we drove a 2008 and a 2006, both Silver, both with the 3800. The 2008 has the Monsoon Stereo, sunroof, XM Radio, and has 75xxx miles. The 2006 has 74xxx miles and is approx 2 grand less. She says she liked driving the 2006 better, I agreed but I think the difference may have been the BF Goodrich tires versus some other brand...

Please lwt me know hwat you think.

Our 2003 GPTP Limited Edition has 197xxx miles on it, they weren't very interested in obtaining it in a trade which is fine with me because I plan to sell it myself.

    '06.
Irridium spark plugs last 100k mi and work just as well as copper. Copper is a waste on N/A and only lasts 15k mi. Don't use Platinum.
Use 195* tstat unless you can thoroughly explain why not; 99.9% don't need a lower temp.
Almost any oil filter, ever, is of higher quality than ACDelco. Spend $6+.

Interesting - I did not know the '06 was boosted, I did not lift the hood....I did on the 08..... It did feel like it had more power when I drove it. No sure why I did not open it - maybe because I KNEW I'd buying it if I saw what was under the hood...

Thanks - looks like I'll do the deal and get this 06 later today or tomorrow. She'll drive it daily on her 110 hgihway commute so she'll get great gas mileage. When I drive it....well
