I remember about 3 years ago, maybe a bit longer. I was driving home in the evening, it was getting dark a little bit. I noticed that my engine is pretty hot! So I pulled over and popped the hood to see my Front Exhaust Manifold bright red, I mean it was glowing like lava! Ahhh. So I turned off the car and let it cool off.

Drove home 5 minutes later and never seen that happen before or had any problems with that manifold ever again.

Just curious on what could have caused that, Kind of makes me laugh a little bit and makes me ponder.. Hmm

When the engine runs hot it leans things out. If you were driving spirited while this was happening it generates a lot of heat.
