Anyone here ever replace a front door on one of these cars? And is it a pain to do? I have to change out the drivers-side front door this weekend, was just looking for some tips to make it go as seamless as possible.
Thanks,
Joe

I replaced a rear door on mine...basically the same set up. There's nothing to it really. It pretty straight forward. My only problem (and it's a minor one) was i didn't line it back up exactly right. So it'll close but i can see where its off just a little bit. Barely noticable, but i rarely have to open that particular door anyway so i don't really sweat it. There's no way in hell u can screw up swapping a door...impossible! Of course i can get mine to where it's perfect, but like i said it's very minor and if u were looking at it u wouldn't notice it unless i told u.

um im going to assume a used door since a oem door shell is 800 bucks. um not a whole lot unbolt the hinge from the door, unplug the door harness. make sure to have a jack if your doing it by your self
Yea its just a used door from the junkyard, I am throwing that on tomorrow morning. It looks really easy and straight forward (drivers side). Then my fender just came in today for the passenger side, now I am just wondering, I am looking at the haynes manual and do I really have to take out all this stuff to just pull a fender off, like washer fluid reservoir and coolant reservoir, headlamps and various other stuff?
yea the just the corner lamps for the fender, the washer bottle will have to, you will see why when you get the front bumper cover off
