I am in the process of doing this conversion right now and since tou have the wiring harness go ahead and change it. If you plan on using your gt transmission you dont need the axle shaft but you will have to send your gtp pcm in to be tuned for the 3.29 gears. 2 bad i dont have the time to get someone to tune it. its my dd so cant waste to much time

YOU CAN SEND IT TO JOHN AT INTENSE AND HE CAN TURN IT AROUND IN A COUPLE DAYS AND DELET ALL THE UNNECESARY CRAP LIKE THE EGR, EVAP AND REAR 02 SO YOU CAN RUN A CATLESS 3" DOWN PIPE. hE TURNED MINE AROUND IN LESS THAN A WEEK.
