It uses a good sensor, I dont care for the Analog style read out myself. LC1 would be better, as well as a AEM IMO

I saw that but im half way hesitant mainly for the fact of not wanting just a digital read out which is all the LC1 does. another one the have does both analog and digital I have looked at this as well

Why would you want the analog style at all? just curious. Aem has the digital readout in the center and a rich/lean readout along the edge thats color cordinated

X2. I wouldn't go with glow whatever if it came to a wideband...trust a company that knows what they are doing

With an analog readout it would also probably be slower from lag...digital is where its at.

Only reason for an analog is its alot easier to just use as a reference if im just looking to make sure things seem right so im not staring at a number trying to work that out in my head.

The LC1 can go to a vaious number of gauges, I saw a list somewhere yesterday and it was large. You may want to check into that further if you want a good wideband with an analog readout.

Yes but then were talking 160$ LC1 plus a gauge. I dont mind the AEM which for about 160 its all inclusive. Thats a good possiblity

trust me its alot easier to look at the actual number then a sweeping needle.

analog gauges are digital, they are just as fast. however, they are harder to read unless you KNOW what each section means with just a glance.

unless you KNOW where your a/f ratio is supposed to be, it is usless and looks cool. just informing here, but a narrowband 02 and af guage is designed to be read between a very tight set or parameters while the wideband 02 and af guage is designed to be used with a broader range of paramters. unless you've had the car tuned or going to have it dyno tuned and is going to be tuned outide the stock ratios. a wideband on a stock tune is usless cuz the pcm will be adjusting the af ratio within the stock pre-set parameters which is usually between 14.1 to 14.7

you do realize that we are talking about a digital (7 segment numbers) versus a analog (dial with a needle like most gauges) wideband gauge, right?

So ultimately if i decide to go with a gauge that has both I would have the best of both worlds. Does everyone agree :P

I see that if you go with this guage you will want to get the output signal wire for $10. Then you can hook it up to the scanner to get your readout in numbers.
