looking to install some footwell leds in my gtp and was hoping i could have them only come on when i open the car door like when the courtesy lights come on? any ideas? thanks in advance you guys

I would just splice them into the wiring that is already there for the regular lights that was installed in your car. And you wouldn't have to worry about blowing a fuse cause LEDs take like no power.

You will have to take down the floor board or whatever you want to call it and the wires that are going to the light bulb there you will splice in or use a tap in (can't remember the exact name at the moment but can get a pic of one if need be). If the LEDs don't come on the first time try switching the wires around.
