Hi, i have a problem with my grand prix and was wondering if someone could help me cause i'm out of ideas.

    I'm running L36 with L67 top swap.
    I have a 3.4 setup that's included :
    3.4 pulley with shorter strap
    180 drilled stat
    2 degress colder plugs
    4" cold air intake
    ubent delete
and a complete tune by computer by DHP
    i'm bossting about 15-16lbs
all done new last summer i made about 3000 km with it and
before winter it was running like new.

i had not started the engine since decembre, and today decide to crank it up. 10 minutes after start at idle,no rev, the light TEMP began to flash and after that she stay's open.

i checked my temperature and she didn't go up at anytime, engine was running great. i'm worried about that light. Oh and one time the engine start's to shake like if it had a misfire. really don't understand what is wrong, someone have ideas?

So you are running a 3.4 on a high comp block with no supporting mods?
Check the plugs see what they all look like and post pics of them. Is there coolant in it?

I loled, It took headers and a intercooler to run a 3.4 on mine. Oh and larger injectors are a good idea. Sounds like a Chunked piston. If I had to guess

No you dont understand. My tune is off a bit and I knock on a high comp block with a cam twice the size of yours with a 3.4. Read the safelymodding your 3800 thread again.

You need more then headers for a 3.25 on a High compression block..... Thats like running a 2.9 on a gtp. And on a 3.4 pulley With a AFR of 11.9 I was hitting 109 percent injector duty cycle. Pull out the plugs, See if any are smashed

10 WOT Ignition timming. Or you had a AFR in the 9's. Eitherway a properly tuned GT block isnt going to run a 3.4 pulley with the little supporting mods you had
