Im having trouble with them leaking at the crossover pipe from the front header. I want to put the flanges on for a v band clamp but dont want to pull it all apart and wreck the seal that I have and or have to buy more gaskets. Does anyone know the size of the pipes off the header and to the crossover? Thanks for any info

the ones for the crossover are 2.25" and the ones for the downpipe are 3.00" 2 of each.

sweet thanks! Nope no rtv. I had to do a lot of work on the front header. I had to cut the flang off and take some length off of the pipes so I could roll the motor forward. It was the only way to get the top mounts bolted up. The header would have hit the fan and is still close to it.

rtv would have prevented a leak

lol, just got done with mine today on my 97 so i find this ammusing. funny thing is that i put mine on with out having to cut anything. i ratchet strapped the engine backward to put the top mount back on. i used aluminum tape to seal the joints, work great.

Before you flange. Try loosending the clamp and tapping repeatedly with a rubber mallet.

I've yet to have a leak and never use RTV. I do ensure all the pipes are together very well though.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

Thanks for all the info guys Im going to flang them just so its easier to work with. I have a buddy that is awsome at tig welding. I just want this thing to stop being a pain. It blew up two months after I bought it. So I went ten over to clean it up, put diamond coated pistons in at 9.5 to 1, a vs cam, headers, had a 3/4" spacer made so I can inject water meth under the charger. Just gotta get it tuned for the corn and let the perma grin start!!
