the top piece just pops off with very little pressure (cup holder and lid open) will need shifter in neutral at least to clear also
I had the same problem. Pull the visible bolts, and lift. Mine was stuck so hard I bent the clips... but thats what the bolts are for.
Thanks for the help, i finished most of the painting and it looks great!!...now im going to work on my next project which is putting gauges in place of my display screen..
nice to hear i might go ahead and paint my interior plastics and stuff soon also.... i have a dk bronzemist metallic GTP wat color should i represnet inside?? White? Anyways send me a messege possibly any1 thanks for the input also what do you use to paint interior parts?
I am going to be pulling my gauge cluster out this morning. I will snap a shot or two of the bolt/screws that need to be removed so that you can remove the center console. Once you remove those two screws it pretty much just wiggling it out of the center part of the console and around the shifter. It's actually pretty straight forward
Old tread...but I must post.
The top piece of the center console won't come up........
Where are the screws? Must I remove the drinkholder completely?
I want to remove it for installing gauges .......
Thanx for your answers
