    they make things

    and sell ZZP things.

    http://www.wbodystore.com/grandprix/...wbsheaders.jpg

    Looks like shiny ZZP headers.

There are differences though.... the V band downpipe is the easiest one to pick out.

    The primaries look like pacesetters.

    Time will tell.

I want to know how the EGR works.

Thats why I got rid of my pacesetters. Amongst other reasons.

someone needs to make a full v-band set (crossover included) and they will be the best set of headers on the market and sell like they are on fire.

i'd like to know of those actually are stainless....

because they look like pacesetter primaries with a new zzp style crossover, new y pipe and v band downpipe.

Zoomer has already stated the wbodystore headers are ZZP copies and nothing like pacesetters. Yes they are stainless. If I was still S/C'd I would pick these up. They are a hassle free header design. Pretty much ZZP headers, but cheaper.

WBS Spent 6 months developing their headers. They aren't a copy of ZZPs no matter how much zoomer wants to sit there and run his mouth about the similarities. Each company tested and designed a good product, WBS was able to use high grade materials at a lower cost.

The only way any set of headers would be different is if were to get longtubes, but that is VERY unlikely.

my WBS FMHE looks suspiciously like a stage 2 ZZP.

the breather was wrapped in ZZP tape.

    They really can't be ZZP's.

The primaries are very different, shorter than ZZP's as well.

take a look at pacesetters, they're the exact same primaries.

    Pacesetter:

I was thinking the same thing when I looked at them. The primaries are shiny, but the crossover and 2 to 1 collector at the back are different. My guess at first glance was ebay headers that are cut and a new crossover welded in. Have to agree with Matt on this one. Looks like Pacesetter knock offs that have been modded. That seems like a lot of money for them if that's all they are.

WE sell pacesetters and those are nothing like them.
To me I think Mike made a copy of the ZZP headers or tried to.

Pacesetters have a 3 bolt exit flange, those pictured are V-band. Pacesetter is mild steel, these say stainless, pacesetter has a totally different crossover and a Y piece that has two slip connections with band clamps. I'm not seeing any resemblence.

Glad you like our design tho Mike, anything else you're gonna copy coming soon?

Anyone can see the primaries are exact copies of pacesetters and that zooms are longer.

I also liked this part "Also, I had a local company that deals in all types of metal in all shapes and sizes take a sample piece of pipe from a set of the headers Ive got here. They said it was basically CRAP "fake" stainless 304 with lots of impurities in the metal and that they have seen a lot more of it recently."

I don't think the wbody store copies things, i believe they owned by zzp and they sell very similar items.
I know of many companys that do this.

Are you sure? I'm pretty positive that Mike and Zooomer pretty much hate each other's guts and are in no direct way involved with each other. I'm probably wrong though.

LOL @ him owning zoom on the fuel rails issue, I'd forgotten about that one.

They're headers... It reduces R&D cost if you can copy the geometry of an existing product and throw that in a JIG versus measuring on a car and repeating all that work. To call them copies is silly though. We use better material, better hardware, fewer connection points (less likely to leak). Geometry might be similar on the primaries but the similarities end there.

As for me and Zooomer, we're not best friends by any stretch of the imagination but this market is a lot smaller now than it was 5 years ago and we both have other companies we draw income from so there's a lot less to lose now than there was 5 years ago. Because of that, we can at least tolerate eachother. Almost all of W Body Store's product line (sans items like KYB struts and other "name brand" stuff) is uniquely W Body Store. Some accessories that don't matter (that breather is a good example) come from ZZP because they're the cheapest place we can get them from. At the end of the day that's what's important. We used to pay Caspers $40 for a breather that we sold for $50 to stay competitive with ZZP. Every time someone ordered one we lost like $3.00. So in cases like that, it's better for us to just go to them. I used to think it was swallowing my pride but really, at the end of the day I'm a business and my job is to make money. If that's how I do it that's how I do it. Pride doesn't pay the bills!

Zooomer doesn't care either. He knows that for every 1 of something we sell he'll sell 10. So for him it's just more money in his pocket. His ability to talk **** about me while taking my money is un-canny.
