'99 GP. My temp gauge nevevr goes above 20% of the dial even though the car runs great (and it does get hot!) I have had the thermostat replaced, but it made no diff. Now I am ready to replace the temp sensor, but I can't locate it! I have a new one in hand. Also, is there any other device between the sensor and the gauge that could be faulty?

    Thanks.

The temp sensor is directly underneath the thermostat. You should be able to see the wire and plug going to it.

hey, yours too eh? I hooked up my Mac-Tools scan tool and streamed the data live, when my car "says" its running at 70 degrees its ACTUALLY running at full operating temperature (95-100 degrees).

Post up when you get the temp sensor in and let me know if it fixes the issue.

19 mm wrench worked fine for me.

I have headers though, would be different if you had stock manifolds i assume.
