Greetings to all!

I have a 1993 Grand Prix SE 3.1 V6 A/T 129K miles that I have had since May of 94.

Occasionally it has an issue of stalling at a stop after it is warm or has run for awhile at highway speeds. It is sporadic and may not happen for months in between.

Yesterday it went from a cold start at 70 degrees ambient driven five miles down the road at 30-45MPH to pick up a part. On the way back it died sevral times when coming up to a stop.

Similiar to some of the Torque Converter issues.. Almost like its still in high gear when trying to stop.

High revs in neutral and then shift to drive allow it to go but it runs like its in too high of a gear for the speed.

I've replaced the EGR and cleaned the clogged port a few years back and that seemed to help but now the problem is back.

I ran codes on it this morning and its showing just the normal 12's and idles fine at start up.

Other than this issue the car runs great and gets good gas mileage.

Any ideas on avenues to pursue for a cure?

Thanks!
