Got a friend with a Z28, LS1 Camaro...has an SLP intake, and a PERFORMANCE CHIP!!

Claims hes at over 400hp, cause the chip added atleast 50hp....

Asked him if he could tell a difference "No, but I KNOW it has more power"

    so yeah..you decide

Well, the numbers are all that really matter! If I had 400hp from a chip, I'd be able to beat a lot of cool cars! Like new camaros and mustangs!

Since it connects into the IAT wiring, I'm sure all it's doing is giving the PCM a false IAT reading to take advantage of the IAT timing modification tables. Seeing as how most of our cars knock stock, do you really want the timing higher?

Believing you'll get 60 horsepower from a stupid chip is being gullible. What do you think? It's that easy to get power?..

It's at the crank, not the wheels!

You can build the same thing using parts at your local radio shack for $2.00 plus tax.
It's just a resistor, these "chips" have been going around for years.
