I wouldn't recommend a SSIC to anyone. I had one on my other GTP, it couldn't hold a candle to my full size I got on my GTP. No comparasion, either get a real IC or get no IC at all. Don't make the mistake I did. You absolutely cannot over intercooler a S/C or a Turbo. There going to produce a **** load of heat. Why get rid of half the heat? Doesn't make sense to me.

As for starter mods if I was starting all over again on another GTP, the first mod would be a full sized Intercooler. You can find nice used ones out there for the same price or cheaper as an SS IC, why not get the best? After that would be an open cone or a CAI, next 3"DP w/ no cat, next 180 t-stat + coolant flush, next Autolite 104s + new wires, next interchangable Pulley system w/ a 3.4 and 3.25, then finally a good tune from Overkill and that would be for starters. With those mods and tuned it should be able to run a 3.25" w/ no knock.

It's all about what you want out of your car ....dont get a dp if later down the road ur going to be getting headers...it's a waste of money since headers always come with dp's...I would suggest headers for a mid 13 second combo like you stated

imo anything in the 13's low 14's you are being held back by the stock mani's....if your running mid 13's you've wasted a lot of time porting the hell outta the stock manifolds and could gain quite a bit more than what is normally seen in switching to headers if that were the case...wich i dont see that happening--I havent even heard of anyone running low 14's with stock maini's but i guess it's possible

Headers are always a step up in performance....you may lose a little low end tq because the headers are more free flowing than the stock...but you will gain some hp for sure. And also be setting a solid path for future mods. Pm me before you put those on if you end up getting them...I got a trick that help out. Shoot who knows we may be doing it at my house lol. Fwiw you probably wont even be able to feel the little bit of tq that is lost on the bottom end

They were unported, then I put ported manifolds on and ran a 13.5. Then I went to headers before spring, and of course I cammed it as well. Started running 13.20's right out of the gate.

do a search for it on this site and you'll see why im not going to get into it. but i will say that you probably wont see any significant gain from it and with a 180 over the stock 195 you may see a drop in mpg

alright, so im not sure what to buy. Basically i plan on getting a 3.4 pulley, CAI, and PCM. Problem is, I'm not sure where i want to get it from.
I dont know whether to get 3800SC Stage 2 Performance Package: 3800 Performance
    or to get INTENSE-Racing.com: INTENSE™ Level 1 3800 L67/L32 Performance Package

or whether i would be better off just buying the 3 main items seperatly.

please let me know what you think would give me the best bang for my buck.
