so i just totaled my camaro and am looking for another car i really want another camaro but there arnt to many around here but plenty of gtps

my questions are can i increase the boost and how high can i go??

and if i were to get a regular grand prix can i put the stock SC on it with little modifications or would i need a whole new top end???

one more how complicated is a manual swap i know what it takes on a camaro and its really not worth the money there but im fairly new to the pontiacs ive always been a chevy guy

Read the safely modding your 3800 thread in the gen tech section. Kuntzie has a write up on a 5 speed swap.

Read through the helpful threads in this section. You'll find a link to safely modding these cars, doing a top swap to a n/a gp, and if you use that search button you will find a few threads from people who did manual swaps.

Like they said you should read a bit, there is a lot of good info.

To answer some things, you can't just drop pulleys for more boost right off the bat. You need some basic flow mods (Intake/Headers)

A top swap to convert N/A to S/C takes a whole top end, check out the top swap section

    Quick answers...

Yes you can increase boost, but to do so, you have to make sure you're getting that air in, and out, and keeping a good A/F ratio..

You can supercharge a non-supercharged Grand Prix, but's its expensive. You will need a whole new top end, Heads included.

Manual swaps have been done, and it will be expensive, and take lots of custom fab work.

That being said, I love the LSx cars, and LT1 cars, but the L67 in my GTP is my favorite to work on.
