The door locks click on and off by themselves. The daytime light sensor is somehow tied into the problem because when it’s dark outside triggers the problem. As time went on the headlights would also turn off when the locks clicking off and on. When using the air-conditioning a problem with the fan speeds 1-4 not working but fan speed 5 worked normal. Replacing the fan blower resistor but didn’t fix the problem. Now all fan speeds have stopped working including speed 5. As if all this isn’t weird enough, I have a Viper keyless entry/remote starter. Now when I start the car with the remote the lights and all fan speeds work fine. As soon as I press the brake the fan and headlights turn off and the locks click on and off. Then I noticed if I am driving at a set speed with the cruise control. I press the remote like I am starting the car, the speed 5 fan works and the locks click on and off. Sometimes pressing the brakes turns the fan off and sometimes the fan stays on. Actually the locks click on and off in every scenario.

The remote was installed 5 years ago. The problem started last summer and slowly got worse. I'm going to disable the security and see if that helps. Thanks!

Something in the alarm or it's wiring is an issue. First thing to do is check the wiring. Most installers don't solder and therefore the 10gauge wires for the items you mention could be a problem.

After that, I'd be contacting the place that installed it or Directed themselves and asking for assistance. I believe all Vipers that are professionally installed carry either a lifetime warranty or one close to life.

You will have main wires that are cut and require the brain to be in place or some large wire work to remove it.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
