When the car is on or if I'm driving it makes a clicking noise like if the blinker is on but its a lot faster. I'm not sure if it may the be the multifunction switch. The noise is definitely coming under the steering wheel. But when I turn on the blinker or the hazard lights the clicking noise stops.
It may be a "box" that is under your glove box, mine has a clicking noise as well, I disconnected that "box" I don't even know what it is lol, but it didn't hurt anything, I just disconnected and the noise stopped. Your noise may be different tho, but you can always try
i have your same problem.. i just have no idea what it is
Under your glove box, (not inside) look for a silver "box" that looks like an amplifier (kinda) I disconnected that one and that clicking noise stopped, your noise may be different tho, just trying to help
hmmm I think it might be the daytime running light box.
Try the plug in the heat sink behind the removable panel on the drivers side of the dashboard by the door, it should be plugged in for the DRLs to work, Unplug and see what happends.
Pull down that panel and use your finger to pinpoint which box is clicking. Once you do that, get a picture of said box and it's location. From there we can tell you exactly which module/function the box does and figure out how to replace it.
if its a click that goes away when you use the combination switch it may be a relay. also before you start disconnecting boxes make sure its not an airbag module......Whatever you do disconnect the battery before hand just in case its an airbag module it doesnt deploy.
