OK here it goes.. Im finally back after a long time of nothing... And I've been dealing with a problem lately. It all started in late summer early fall as I was getting on the e-way I had the pedal to the floor and the car hit the Rev limmiter bounced for a couple seconds and then finally shifted. My assumption was tranny issue but was hoping for it to repeat the problem which it didnt for a couple months. Then periodically the same problem would occur. One time I popped a code. It was for a random misfire. (mind you the car is under warranty still) SO i took it to the stealership. They could not reproduce the problem (go figure) and sent me on my way. It stil happened so they replaced the tranny fluid on their dime because they didnt when they sold me the car.
Here is where the story changes. The whole time I was thinking tranny however, now that its gotten colder out before the car is completely warm I will randomly run into a similar problem but not near redline. Usually i get a surging like the car is trying to shift but just wont around 3K RPM. I am still not sure what would be causing this. Any input would be welcome as I am nearing the end of my warranty and want the stealership to pay for anything :P
