    i was wondering if any one else has this problem. when it gets hot outside my car will turn my abs and traction control off. then it says service traction system and service other things. i was wondering if anyone has this or knwo what is causing it. it will go off when i restart my car.

    well it happens every summer and no mecanics know what it is, they all say it isnt hurting the car but its geting anoying

    next time the light comes on get the ABS code read and see whats up.

    It could be that when the sensors heat up the resistance goes above the tolerance for throwing a code but when the temp comes back down the resistance falls back into the proper range.

    Just have to catch it when its causing the code and find out which one it is.

    it dosent throw any codes tho. i thought it could be the cpu

    when your ABS light is on there is a code to be read.

    But you need an ABS capable scanner to see it.

    Tech II scanner would be ideal, but only the stealership has those for the most part.
