I have a 30th anniversary RS camaro now...i kinda wanna do an LS1 and T56 swap.
Just looked it up, you're right, it's really nice. Too bad, but at least you have that GTP, which gives you something to work with, unlike my GT, lol.

T56? That uses a hydraulic clutch, doesn't it? Good transmisison.

The T5's from the eighties F bodies had hydraulic clutches as well.

My bad, lol. I'm not really into modifying transmissions since they're so complicated for me. I don't know much about them, either. I stick to engine, suspension, and brake work. But hey, I'm no mechanic.

Looked what up? the color? 1997 Chevy Camaro Z28 With Mystic Teal Paint Photo 10
I love that pic...its like quaser blue on the left side of the bumper and polo green on the right side...i had a polo green camaro also.
Your right the GTP does give me something to work with but I don't wanna go too crazy with it...3.2" steup is about the furthest i wanna go with it. Ya hydraulic on the clutch i believe.
Yeah, I searched pictures for the car and saw some pretty nice ones. Beautiful car. For me though, I'm going to go all black on the Trans Am, and black everything out.

Yeah, while the GTP is a good starting point, you don't want to invest thousands and thousands. You plan on getting a WS6 or Z28?

^ I used some sandpaper on mine as well. Didn't turn out too bad. Started to flake chrome off on one side tho. Need to go at them with steel wool or get the 40th anni tips that are at local muffler shop. If they are still there that is. They were on shelf in shop last time I was there.

The did look aweful. I had a lot planned with that, including retinting the tails because i did them in the dead of winter but unfortunately some ***** decided to ruin all my hopes and dreams. And the car is hella dirty in that pic.

I went 400 (helps get all the built up stuff off), then 800, then 1500 then 2000, then some steel wool. Wasn't perfect, it needed more attention but again it was freezing when I was doing this.

hand, the face of the tip is slightly curved so a block wouldn't work. Honestly, I fell in love with those tips once they were shined up, it'd be worth it on other cars. Even if you guys were to just buy the 04+ stock tips and weld/bolt them on.
